My Burro

Email to Algebra Teacher (DelGrosso)

Hello,
I have suffered. After long hours of slaving over a hot keyboard, I clicked Print…but there was no ink. I pondered a quest for ink across perilous steppes atop my trusty burro Mickey, but then realized that any attempt would be in vain. And so I have attached the Holy Document to this electronic message. Open it, and behold! the beauty and polish. Your eyes will be scarred by its holy light. Your brain will be melted by its wondrous simplicity. It is midnight. I’m going to hop on my burro and gallop off into the darkness now.

Once the Night of Inkless Printing has passed, I will attempt to print once more from a new and far off land…the Hall of Hallowed Wisdom. Perhaps the ink shortage will have not spread that far…yet.

–Addendum–
Ah, but as I attempt to send the Holy Document via secure channels to your address, it appears I am being blocked by a higher power: the…server. For the Holy Document is too large and holy to fit into its small orifice. And so I must find an alternate route. I will ride my unfaltering burro to the Hall of Hallowed Wisdom to attempt to print as planned, but I will transfer the Document on both a Circular Disc of Rainbow Beauty and a Blue Pluggy Thingy with a Green Light of Reassurance. As long as I am not seen inserting the Blue Pluggy Thingy or the Circular Disc into the Plastic Brick at the Hall of Hallowed Wisdom, I will be saved. But will the higher power intervene again? Or will another being, perhaps the Loremistress of the Sacred Lair, foil my attempts to print with ink?
